A Day in the Life Session with One of My Favorite Baltimore Families

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite families. We met three years ago, shortly after they moved to Baltimore and contacted me for their annual family photographs. It turned out that they lived right around the corner from me and their oldest and my youngest would start kindergarten together. We’ve become wonderful friends, and I adore photographing them, particularly their two daughters. Having the opportunity to watch children grow through annual sessions, where I am focused on picking up on the nuances of their expressions and personalities is one of the most fun parts of my job!

For this day in the life (documentary) session, we met downtown in Fells Point, where the family had lived when they first moved to town. We strolled the streets, fed the ducks, and enjoyed hot chocolate. I can’t think of a better way to spend a fall afternoon.
