HOW IT WORKS
1. SCHEDULE YOUR SESSION
To schedule your session, all that’s required is a signed contract and submission of the session fee. There’s also a questionnaire that helps me get to know your family a little bit and fills me in on anything important I should know. If we haven’t yet selected a date, please let me know several dates and times you have in mind. Or, even better, let’s avoid the email back and forth and hop on a call to quickly compare calendars.
The session fee is $400 and includes pre-session planning, local travel, shooting time, customary post-processing, your personalized online gallery presentation, product design services and ordering support. Additional fees associated with the session, including entrance fees, parking, permits, etc. and additional travel fees outside of Baltimore, County, MD may be applied where applicable. Don’t worry, we’ll go over any additional fees in advance, so there will not be any surprises. MD sales tax will also be added where applicable.
2. THE BIG DAY
The week before your session, we’ll connect to confirm our time and location. We can go over any final details, and I can answer any last minute questions. If the forecast looks iffy or someone isn’t feeling well, we can devise a plan.
On the day of the session, we’ll meet at the location. I suggest arriving about 10 minutes early to avoid feeling rushed and everyone is ready to get started on time. If we’re shooting at your home, I will arrive about 10 minutes early to get myself situated and check out your space. There’s no need for your to be 100% ready for me. Feel free to use that time to finish getting ready.
Sessions last from 1-2 hours, typically about 90 minutes. You’ll see that I love what I do and am most definitely not watching the clock. I’ll have a game plan, but the will also be plenty of time play and explore. And if you think your kids won’t last that long, I promise, you’ll be surprised. When you go somewhere fun, let them explore, and give them your undivided attention, they are all in! But don’t worry, we'll have plenty of time for breaks when they (or you!) need one.
3. LOVE YOUR PHOTOS
About two weeks after your session, I’ll pop in your inbox with a link to a slide show that contains all of your fully edited images. Once you’ve had a chance to see them and marvel a bit, you’ll let me know which of three collection you’d like to purchase. After that, you’ll have a full three weeks to select the digital files and print products you’d like to complete your collection. During this time, I’m fully available to help you in any way I can—whether it’s offering product guidance, answer questions, or assisting in album or gallery wall design.
